How does pricing work?
Our pricing is tailored to each client’s needs. We consider transaction volume, business complexity, records, and the specific services required before providing a customized quote.
What accounting software do you support?
We work with QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage, FreshBooks, Zoho Books, and Odoo. If you’re unsure which platform is appropriate, we can help you select one based on your business needs.
Who prepares my tax return?
Tax returns are prepared and filed in-house by our IRS-authorized Enrolled Agent.
Do I need to sign a long-term bookkeeping contract?
Our bookkeeping packages have a three-month minimum engagement and then continue month-to-month with 30 days’ written notice to cancel or downgrade.
Can you help if my books are several months behind?
Yes. We offer bookkeeping cleanup and recovery engagements based on how far behind your books are and the complexity of the records.
Can you help me start a new business?
Yes. We provide business formation services and can help with the financial and administrative setup needed to establish your business.
Can you manage my business compliance?
Yes. We provide support for recurring business compliance requirements such as annual reports, franchise tax filings, business licenses, foreign qualification, registered agent services, and applicable federal reporting.
Do you provide CFO services?
Yes. Our financial advisory and virtual CFO services are designed for businesses that need higher-level financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and decision support without necessarily hiring a full-time CFO.
Do you work with businesses outside Wyoming?
8 Cypher is based in Cheyenne, Wyoming and can support eligible businesses remotely. Specific state filing, tax, licensing, and compliance services should be evaluated based on the business’s jurisdiction and requirements.
Can I use 8 Cypher for only one service?
Yes. Clients can engage 8 Cypher for individual services or combine multiple services into an ongoing business management relationship, depending on their needs.
